Making sound visible through Cymatics

Before you run off to Wikipedia to see what the of earth is this Cymatics, here’s the actual wikipedia explanation: “Cymatics, also known as modal phenomena, is the study of visible sound and vibration, typically on the surface of a plate, diaphragm, or membrane. Directly visualizing vibrations involves using sound to excite media often in the form of particles, pastes, and liquids.” Now when you have some background, go and watch this awesome and inspiring ted talk by the artist Evan Grant.
