It’s about time

We started studying this week. We’re taking a few courses in the open university. I got to admit one thing – I’m enjoying it. So far. It’s been a very long time since I’ve set foot in a classroom as a student (I did attend a few classes as a guest lecturer about Terrorism). For now I’m taking Art History and Art In The Technological Age, when the later is my favorite from the two. I enjoy discovering how some of MY ideas and conclusions about Art were already been thought up and experimented with by other artists – almost a hundred years ago.

I think that for the first time can I see the connection between their experiments (the fall of the Naturalism and Cubism for example) to our experiments in the field of Social installation Art with The Arts Collective (go to http://arts-collective.com if you want to read more about that).

In meanwhile its all work and studying for us, the nest few weeks are going to be very tight but I still hope to be able to write here more often.

“Seriousity is something to be laughed at. “– FZ responding to Ivo Niehe from Dutch television after being told that Europeans take Frank’s music very serious.

Have a nice day!
