Creating Spatial Barriers With Electronics

I’ve read about this first at @joshuakarjala’s website. This piece is simple and beautiful and I want to share it with you. Borrowed from www.psfk.com.

“How do electronic devices create temporary invisible spaces and modify behavior in their presence? Choy Ka Fai from RCA Design Interactions has filmed a video that demonstrates how the use of cameras in public spaces create spatial barriers between camera and subject which can be seen as impassable by passersby.

A simple device made of laser pointers outlines the camera’s field of view in the video below.”
